Fencing has many aspects. It is a skill, it is an art and an exciting road to physical fitness. It is also a mental discipline that teaches self-control and self-understanding. At Bristol White Eagle Fencing Club we believe that it is within the reach of all to experience the thrill, the elegance and the glory of fencing. The skill of fencing, like riding a bicycle, is a matter of having the right technique to start with and then "getting it" as our sub-conscious mind engages with its possibilities.
Mondays from 3:30 until 4:30 (aligned with the school term).
The children will be learning with special, plastic kit and will have the opportunity to try ‘electric’ fencing during friendly, inter-school competitions each term end.
Fees are paid in advance* and the cost is calculated as # of sessions x £7 (the cost for the term will be confirmed in the email accompanying this form). Please send your child in with a post-school snack.
Places are limited, allocated on a first come first served basis and confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
